We will paint Baby Fab's room this weekend and that is my HUGE chore right now. I went in there this morning and found a little tiny leak in the ceiling! Acccckkkkk! I woke hubby and he said that he will look at it this evening. At least we found it before we started painting. Hubby is a good handyman, so I know he will get that fixed right away. We can't play around with a leak.
I had the glucose test on Monday and got my results yesterday. My levels were 188 and should be 65-139. I blame a large part on that result to me taking the test at 3:00 in the afternoon. Regardless, I have to now follow a special diet (mostly carbs and sweets, really) for 3 days, starting tomorrow, and on Monday morning, I go to the hospital for a 3 hour test. Yuck. J did say that he would go with, but I hate to make him sit there. I can take my laptop with a movie or just take a book. Also, my iron is a little low, so I am on an Iron Pill. Geesh.... I need one of those pill containers that have the boxes for each day of the week! I now take, Pre-natal vitamins, folic acid and the iron pill.
It will be worth it all in the end when I meet my sweet baby girl!

I have one of those pill boxes, like an old person. LOL. I have so many things I need to remember to take everyday! FTR, I was also on the iron pills (borderline low iron for both pregnancies). Remember to drink your water - the iron can "bind you up", if you know what I mean...
Yuck. Hate that Glucose Test. And now you have to do it again! I told the girl I was going to throw up when I did mine. She said "you can throw up but you'll just have to come back and do it again" That got me through it.
Good luck on the baby's room! We want some pictures when it's done!
I,too, have an old lady pill box! Between the estrogen, my pill, the calcium, and everything else, it is the only way that i will remember to take them all.
I am glad that you are being so diligent about making sure things are going smoothly. I cannot wait to meet Baby Fab either! ;)
The Glucose test sucks ass big time !!!!! My advice for your back ache - float in a pool. Hold a float under your arms with you belly in the water and feet off the ground. It used to work for me. Hope it does you some good.
I also take Expecta Lipil - my doc likes that for DHA (good for baby's brain & eyes) - maybe add another pill?? LOL
Just remember to always bend your knees when you pick something up or whatever....it really helps; sometime I forget this! Also, some simple stretches may help. :)
Can't wait to 'meet' your baby!
ETW: I just heard about the "binding!" Yuck....
Vinomom: I take the test on Monday, hopefully, I don't throw up either.
Nonya: I hate taking pills! I have them all beside the bed!(J says beside our bed looks like a little old lady sleeps there!)
Girl: My neighbor has a pool and that is advice that I will take starting this weekend!
GiGi: I will check on that pill with my Dr. I'll take anything that helps arrive Baby Fab healthy.
I have a pill box too! LOL!! Ugh...hate the Iron pills - they are freakin' huge & make me nauseous! I had gestational diabetes with Luna - hated that 3hr. sugar test (ick - that orange drink!!!)....Yes, agree with ETW - loads of water, girlie!!!
Momma - of course - has one of them pill boxes - always in my bag.
Bummer on the glucose test - but I'm glad you have things to occupy your mind while you're there! Let us know how it turns out! Momma will worry...
Hehe...'old lady pillbox' ;) While I don't have one of those, I do get up every night to pee, walk about 10' in the morning before I can stand straight up, glare at the neighbor kids on my yard, and go absolutely freakin nuts if ANYONE calls after 9:00 PM....and I ain't pregnant ;)
Good luck on your test, honey :)
