The Job Urine Test

Someone emailed this to me earlier in the week and I thought it was so funny. True, but funny.

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass , doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I agree 100%. Don't shoot the messenger!

J-Fab; I agree onehundredfuckin%...but, that just won't work. Lemme 'splain....Say they implement this and say 70% fail. I don't know how much money this would be but say its like a zillionfuckin dollars. Now, you have all these politicians with a zillion extra bucks at their 'disposal'. What do they do with it you ask (and thanks for asking ;)? Well, they'd set up all kinds of new 'Guvment Programs' which ends up giving all this money right back to the same people who failed the 'pee test'.

Your Welcome.....Professor Efen, Head of FuckinEconomics.

Hmmmm.

Yeah, but wouldn't it be kinda funny to watch 'em get all itchy and stuff right before 'test day'? Then we could come out and go "Just kidding! Y'all can go get high again! Here's yer check!"

(I'm a bitch.)

Since I am a bleeding heart liberal, what you'd end up with is junkies who barely care for their kids now, having to give up their food stamp card and housing.

Easy to say but it isn't like people with addictions are suddenly going to stop and I personally don't want to see them starving to death in the middle of the street in the land of milk and plenty.

But that's just me.
