Do you guys remember a few weeks ago when I posted the story about the onion taste that had set up camp in my mouth for like a week? Well.... I swore off onions and refused to eat another one and not even cook with one. This past weekend, my husband and kids asked for chili so I went to the store to gather my grocery list. I stood in the produce isle for maybe 5 minutes debating whether or not to get an onion. My husband said that he understood why I hated onions now and that maybe I could just throw a little onion in there for taste and so I decided to make chili the right way. I have a chop-chop and cut the onions very, very small and added them to the chili. Everyone was happy and the chili was very good.
Well, guess what????? I have that taste again! It is not as strong as a few weeks ago, but I can for sure taste those little bastards. So again..... I will never eat-cook-hold-look at another onion! Some people never learn! Urrrrgggghhhhhhhh!
