Ok... thanks so much for all the concern over the whole MRI ordeal the other day. You guys are so sweet!
I found out that I have an "annular tear" in L5-S1. (I said ANNULAR, not ANAL, Efen!)
Basically, this is a tear in a disk. Not ruptured, just a tear. She said that I am one slight hair away from a rupture though. There is really no instant cure; chiropractic care and just time to heal. She gave me Lidocaine patches (they numb whatever is hurting... like a shot from the Dentist, which totally rock), Muscle relaxers (I haven't taken yet) and an anti-inflammatory. The Chiro is doing some sort of pressure point treatment and light treatment on my back and it is feeling some better. Dr. said it will take about 6 months to heal.
I finally finished packing and leave for Vegas in the morning! Yeah! Hopefully, I will have better stories to tell than from my Nashville trip!

I'm glad you got answers, finally! I've been in the MRI tube LOADS. I've lost count (I have multiple sclerosis). It doesn't bother me much, but it is a tight squeeze. I say the rosary while I hang out.
